Callater Cottage

Braemar

A comfortable self-catering cottage based on a former coachman's cottage

The cottage after a heavy fall of snow (February 2001)

Callater Cottage was originally the coachman's cottage for Callater Lodge. Indeed the L-shaped building still retains the three components - coach-house, cottage and stables although the purpose has changed. The lounge has an old-fashioned appeal, being lined with the original pitch pine. It is well equipped and furnished comfortably so that small groups of four or families of four to five can have a relaxed holiday break.
